You’ll say, “I’m fine.”
You’ll live another day.
Or rather, breathe another day.
Because this isn’t living.
This is surviving.
This is trying not to hate yourself.
This is trying to remind yourself
why you should
even go on anymore.
It’s so heavy inside me.
Even my smiles are weighed down my some
Even the people I love
and adore can’t
change the pain inside me.
What’s even worse,
is that as the moon has orbited
the sun, I have lost
along the way.
Anonymous asked:what are your thoughts on having insecurities, and just insecurities in general? Why do you think people have insecurities, & what do you wish would happen for people to not have them? How do people in your environment that are typically insecure think & feel about themselves? And what it something that you would want a girl who has many insecurities herself to believe? Why? Please reply, I've been hearing about things like these & it's honestly confusing, i'd like to know your thoughts. (: <3
We all have insecurities and that’s just a part of life. I don’t really think that they’re something that will ever be eliminated because we all have things about ourselves that we aren’t particularly fond of and we always will. Eventually we do all need to come to terms with the people that we are though. You can’t go through life hating the person that you are. At some point you have to realize that your flaws are a part of what makes you a unique and beautiful human being. You have to work to get yourself to a place where you end the negative self talk. Once you find that place, happiness is much easier to acquire.
